At Arkansas State University-Jonesboro, the Student Affairs objective is simple: provide students the best possible campus environment for living and learning, and provide opportunities for them to grow academically, intellectually, socially and professionally. We expect our students to excel so we do what it takes to remove as many non-academic obstacles as possible, allowing them to focus on academic pursuits.
Our student leadership staff develops innovative programming to involve students in numerous and diverse campus organizations and activities. Participation in these programs enables students to hone their interpersonal, social and leadership skills, and prepares them for more advanced leadership positions after they graduate from ASUJ. I highly recommend that all students get involved, meet other students, make lasting friendships and experience "once in a lifetime" moments while achieving and maintaining academic success. This is the essence of college life!
The Division of Student Affairs at ASUJ is comprised of the following student services departments: Admissions, Counseling and Career Planning Services, Sodexo Dining Services, Disability Services, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Parking Services, Residence Life, Student Conduct, Student Leadership Center (Greek Life, Involvement, Multicultural Affairs, Non-Traditional Student Services, Student Activities, Yearbook), Student Health Center, Student Union Operations, Testing Services, and University Police Department. Staff members in each of our departments care about our students and make student success their highest priority.
