Faculty Advisors & Student Ambassadors

The appointed faculty to the Student Research Advisory Council and the appointed student research ambassadors work together to advance and provide a structural basis to organize and encourage the advancement of student research on the A-State campus.

Student Research Advisory Committee
The Student Research Advisory Committee is made up of one faculty representative from each college. It provides input for SRC activities, as well as Create @ State. Members of this committee act as the college champion for advancing student research, coordinate with SRC Student Research Ambassadors for their college, attend SRC meetings when possible to serve as a resource and mentor for students and provide guidance for Create @ State.

Student Research Ambassadors
The Student Research Ambassadors, the official representatives of the A-State Student Research Council, are formally advised by the university's research development office, and work closely with the staff to develop, strengthen, expand, and institutionalize student research on campus. They represent the student research body and are the organizing body for events and activities that broaden participation in research within the university, such as Create @ State, professional development initiatives and faculty/student mentoring workshops.
