Diversity and Inclusion Conference 2021

Event Information: “St. Bernards Healthcare and Arkansas State University Division of Diversity and Community Engagement have collaborated to bring the 2nd Annual diversity conference to the city of Jonesboro, AR and surrounding areas. The conference will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021, from 8:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. via zoom. The conference theme is “These are the Times: Diversity in Action.” The conference will address how diversity, equity and inclusion looks in action and offer participants tools for engaging in courageous and equitable practices in their daily lives. This is an event you do not want to miss.”

What is the Registration fee? Registration is $25 to help cover the cost of speaker fees, technology and digital equipment, graphic design and other administrative expenses.

Can I get Continuing Education Credits? Nurses and Physicians will be eligible to receive CEUs. Social workers and educators will receive certificates indicating their attendance. These certificates can be used by attendees to apply for professional development credit through the appropriate granting agency.

Encompass Health-St. Bernards Joint Venture of Jonesboro is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

St. Bernards Medical Center is accredited by the Louisiana State Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
