Welcome to Arkansas State University!

McNair Achievement Program

The McNair Achievement Program at Arkansas State University has closed, effective September 30, 2013, due to federal funding cuts.  Scholars remaining at Arkansas State University will continue to be supported in applying to graduate school by contacting Laura Kuizin, Director of the SMART Center in the College of Sciences and Mathematics (and former Director of the McNair Program).  Continued support for current scholars and alumni will include working on personal statements, assisting with applying to graduate school and recommendation letters.  Additionally, we will provide letters to verifying an applicant's status as a McNair Scholar to potential graduate schools.

We also hope that at some point in the future, we will be privileged to have the McNair Achievement Program return to Arkansas State University.  Thank you for your interest in the McNair Program.
