Media services has a wide variety of equipment available for students and faculty checkout.

Available Equipment

The following equipment is available for students:

Checkout Policies

  • ASU students are allowed to check out digital cameras and digital projectors for approved academic purposes at no charge.
  • The checkout period is 3 days.
  • Must have a valid ASU ID.
  • The responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items rests on the person who checked it out. There will be an additional $20 non-refundable processing fee added to the replacement price of the equipment.
  • Students who need to borrow equipment for a classroom presentation may do so through their instructor, who must acknowledge responsibility for the equipment.
  • All Media Services equipment is available to students for in-house use.
  • We recommend that reservations for equipment be made as soon as possible. If items are not picked up on the first day of the reservation period, the reservation will be canceled.
  • Any exceptions to the policies may be made by the Dean of Library and Information Resources only.
  • If you are interested in borrowing a laptop computer please contact the IT Services Lab in Room 149 of the library building or call 972-2660.

  • If a student is sent to pick up items for faculty or staff they will need to have that faculty or staff member's ASU ID, as well as their own ASU ID.
