Office 365 Download Steps

 First Time Users for Office 365:

  1. Login to Mycampus
  2. Click on Student or Faculty/Staff/Employee folder on the left as applicable, Scroll down to Software Downloads (It will take you to another page)
  3. There will be two tabs at the top Student or Faculty/Staff click on the one that is applicable.
  4. Click on “Office 365 Pro Plus”
  5. Click “Add to Cart”
  6. Click on the “Cart” Icon at the top, right of the page
  7. Make sure to uncheck ‘Windows 10’ to remove it from your cart.
  8. Then, click “Check Out” to complete the check-out process.
  9. A box will then appear with your subscription details with an email and temporary password. Click “Get Office 365”
  10. Click on Install Office, after the file is downloaded run the program.
  11. After it is downloaded and installed click on the application (word)
  12. It will then take you to the login page. Use the email that was provided with the temporary password.
  13. It will then ask you to create your own password (Remember this password because you will have to use it again to renew your subscription in a year)
  14. Office will then activate, you might be required to restart the program if that doesn’t work or you encounter any issues please call On the Hub Support at 1-888-396-1447.

 Expired Subscription:

  1. Login to Mycampus
  2. Click on Student or Faculty/Staff/Employee folder on the left as applicable, scroll down to Software Downloads (It will take you to another page)
  3. On the top right page, click on your AState email or your name (a drop-down box will appear), then click on “Your Account/Orders”
  4. Then, click “View Details” here it will tell you if your subscription has expired or if it is still current. If it is still current see below “Renewal Subscription” steps. If subscription is still expired please proceed with the below steps.
  5. There will be two tabs at the top Student or Faculty/Staff click on the one that is applicable.
  6. Click on “Office 365 Pro Plus”
  7. Click “Add to Cart”
  8. Click on the “Cart” Icon at the top, right of the page
  9. Make sure to uncheck ‘Windows 10’ to remove it from your cart.
  10. Then, click “Check Out” to complete the check-out process.
  11. A box will then appear with your subscription details with an email.
  12. Open the application (word)
  13. It will then take you to the login page. Use the email that was provided with the password that you created the first time you went through this process. If you don’t remember your password please call to have them reset it. (Remember this password because you will have to use it again to renew your subscription in a year)

 

Renewal of Subscription:

  1. As long as the subscription is still current you can just go to the program and re-sign in which will re-authenticate the subscription.
  2. To check your expiration date login to Mycampus
  3. Click on Student or Faculty/Staff/Employee folder on the left as applicable, scroll down to Software Downloads (It will take you to another page)
  4. On the top right page, click on your AState email or your name (a drop down box will appear), then click on “Your Account/Orders”
  5. Then, click “View Details” here it will tell you if your subscription has expired or if it is still current. If expired see above “Expired Subscription” steps. If subscription is still current please proceed with the below steps.
  6. Once the Office 365 is on your computer, click on one of the programs and it will ask you to sign in. Use the same credentials that you used to install the software. Usually the password for students is firstname.lastname@arkstate.onmicrosoft.com or faculty/staff first part of email address@arkstate.onmicrosoft.com (to verify go back to step number 4)
  7. Enter password that was used when downloading the software. If you do not remember the password please call On the Hub Support at 1-888-396-1447 to reset.
  8. Once reset and entered, it should verify and allow changes to office programs.

 This software is only available to ACTIVE students and faculty/staff on their personal devices.
