After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email and then your next step is to schedule your placement test. Specific information about scheduling a time for you to take the placement test will be provided in that confirmation email.
The OEPP utilizes Collegeboard’s ESL ACCUPLACER exam to place students into the appropriate level of coursework. The exam lasts about two hours and tests your ability to listen, read and write in English. Sample questions can be found here.
The exam is administered live over the Internet using ZOOM software. In order to take the exam, applicants must have access to a computer with high-speed Internet connection and a webcam; a microphone is not required at this stage. The cost for the exam is $10 and is included in a student’s first tuition payment.
Students will be notified of their level placement two business days after completing the exam.

Spring II Placement Test: March 11 - 13
Summer Placement Test : May 27 – 29
Fall I Placement Test : July 29-31
Fall II Placement Test : September 30 – October 2
