Global Youth Leadership Academy
Experience American college life this summer at A-State’s Global Youth Leadership Academy: a three-week residential on-campus experience for high school students age 14-18, that includes English conversation practice with community partners, instruction from A-State professors, speakers from public and private organizations as well as internationally known civic organizations. Plus enjoy opportunities for participation in sports, the arts, shopping and fun. Topics include: Leadership, Community Service, Finance and Economics, Personal Branding, and Media Interviewing.
Guest speakers include Mayor Harold Perrin of the City of Jonesboro, Dr. Charles Hartwig, First Vice-President of Lions Club International and Retired A-State Professor, Philip A. Jackson of Rotary Club International and President of ASU Systems Foundation, Matthew Knight of Mid-South Health Systems, Dr. Jim Washam, Dr. Philip Tew, Larz Roberts and Dr. Holly Hall of Arkansas State University.
