Welcome to Arkansas State University!

Pack Tracks

Domestic students who sign up to be members of GPT will be creating opportunities for A-State international students to meet A-State domestic students and enhance each other’s campus life by having meaningful interactions.

The domestic students will meet with international students twice a month in different forms of interactions. These interactions can include but are not limited to:

  • Conversation club (meet and talk about any topics all are interested in)
  • Study group
  • Lunch group
  • Trip to a local restaurant, park, and/or shopping area
  • Attendance at events/activities hosted by International Programs
  • Sporting events
  • Assistance in getting a phone or bank account

Process

All students who are interested in being involved should fill out an application that submits to the Office of International Programs. A staff member in International Programs will notify you about upcoming meetings/events and connect both the domestic and international student together. Applications will be taken every fall and spring students and the students will continue to receive communications for one academic year.  At the end of this one year, you can choose if you want to continue in the program.
