ASU Disability Services is responsible for arranging accommodations for students with disabilities enrolled in ASU Jonesboro online courses, Academic Partnership Program, Distance Education, and ASU courses at sister-campuses.
Register with ASU Disability Services as required:
Communicate with Disability Services (DS) Counselor about general services and processes Obtain information on DS eligibility criteria.
Complete Application for Services and provide disability documentation.
Participate in DS intake process.
Finalize the registration process including requesting accommodations.
Disclose to faculty members’ student’s registration with ASU Disability Services.
Request accommodations at the beginning of the term for online courses as recommended. You may fill out this online accommodation request form.
Discuss with DS Counselor and faculty members any concerns regarding technical access and academic adjustments.
Schedule an appointment with your DS Counselor to renew academic accommodations, annually.
Disability Services Staff Collaborations:
Provide students with a suggested list of accommodations.
Upon student’s request faculty member(s) will be notified of required accommodations.
Collaborate with faculty members in the coordination of academic accommodations for students with disabilities.
Discuss with faculty members optional accommodations as required.
DS staff and/or faculty member(s) will provide follow up with students.
