Garry Johnson, who was an A-State football player, graduated in 2003. He was in the NFL from 2003-2006. Garry currently resides in Houston, Texas and is a Special Education Teacher and an Assistant Football Coach.
Garry was recruited by Division I and the top 20 schools in the nation but, chose Arkansas State University because Disability Services had presented a plan that would guide him toward his ultimate goal, graduation.
Garry Johnson states, “I am truly grateful to Disability Services for the services afforded to me throughout my tenure at Arkansas State University, from August 1998 until May 2003. With the assistance of Disability Services, I graduated in May 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in General Studies”
