Delta Symposium

Delta Symposium XXV

Dislocation and the Delta

April 10-13, 2019

Delta Symposium presents work from multidisciplinary approaches including literary criticism, cultural studies, history, anthropology, folklore, ethnomusicology, sociology, speech communication and heritage studies. Although proposals that have direct connections to Arkansas and the Delta are especially welcome, more general proposals that also address the theme within Southern history, culture, and heritage will be considered.

Arkansas Roots Music Festival

As in recent years, the symposium will conclude with the annual Arkansas Roots Music Festival on April 14th, which is supported by KASU, the university's public broadcasting service.
