The Compressed Video Network (CVN) at Arkansas State University uses two-way videoconferencing for distance learning. The network can connect with over 500 sites throughout Arkansas and many places around the nation.
The Compressed Video Network is a division of the Arkansas State University Continuing Education and Community Outreach (CECO). CECO has been established to provide both on-campus and off-campus courses and degree programs as educational needs are identified.
The purpose of the Compressed Video Network is to pursue and share knowledge with our students, form partnerships to address common concerns and serve our local, national and global community. CVN uses audio and video technology to bring people at distant sites closer together to exchange ideas, open business opportunities and share information.
