Graduate Program

Students have the opportunity to major in Environmental Sciences (Masters or PhD), Molecular Biosciences (Masters or PhD), or Aquaculture and Fisheries (Masters).  Graduate students admitted into the Bridge program can expect to receive the following benefits:

  • $3,000 scholarship per semester 
  • Work with expensive, high-tech equipment conducting research in a lab or outside in the field
  • Faculty and peer/buddy mentoring to provide wrap-around support
  • Professional development opportunities to acquire soft skills
  • Social interaction activities to build lasting relationships and form bonds

Graduate level students interested in either A-State's Environmental Sciences or Molecular Biosciences Program will have to not only apply  to the Bridge Program but to the Graduate School.   Graduate level students interested in UAPB's Aquaculture and Fisheries program will need to apply to the Bridge Program and through UAPB's Aquaculture and Fisheries Program.
